"Protect the good spirit and the atmosphere in the camp" – MP

Ismailia, Egypt, 7 July GNA – Mr. Asemanyi
Kojo, Vice-President of the Special Parliamentary Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture,
stated that the discussion continues by the public on the monetary issues of the
Black Stars, will affect the good spirit and atmosphere in the camp, at the
Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

"Over the years, we always give an idea of
budget allocations for competition. However, we have to exercise a little bit of
restrict this time since over-concentration on this would destabilize the
good spirit and peace of mind of the camp team.

The member for Gomoa East said
in an interview with GNA Sports in Ismailia, Egypt, that the Ministry of Youth
Sports, operated within the limits of its annual budget and plans for the year,
adding that at the appropriate time, the figures would be made public.

"In the framework of the Select Parliament
Commission for Youth, Sports and Culture, we have the opportunity to see
expenses of the team, when it comes to competitions of this nature, however,
we must all be a bit cautious in our budget requests because there is
sponsorship considerations as well.

"We do not encourage anyone to
spend too much, but let's be careful about how we deal with monetary issues because
37 years without this AFC Cup is a big concern for this country.

"We have to find ways to end it, even though I
