Adrien Rabiot has signed a verbal agreement to join Real Madrid.
Rabiot, 24, is a free agent this summer after failing to sign an extension of contract with PSG.
He has not played since the beginning of December and has since been suspended for his antics after the defeat of the Champions League against Manchester United.
Liverpool and Arsenal sparked interest although Barcelona appeared to be in pole position before PSG criticized the La Liga champions' behavior.
This has put Real Madrid on the alert and reports in France suggest that a move is in place.
Zinedine Zidane is a longtime admirer of Rabiot and plans to take him to Bernabeu before his departure last summer.
Unsurprisingly, Rabiot is eager to play under his countryman and Cbad + suggests that he has reached a verbal agreement allowing him to settle in Madrid in free transfer.
Zidane wants to breathe new life into an aging midfielder this summer and sees Rabiot as the ideal solution.
