Ghana volunteered to conduct and present its first National Voluntary Review (VNR) report to the July 2019 High Level Political Forum.

The main objective of the VNR is to facilitate the sharing of experiences and mutual learning among countries, including successes, challenges and lessons learned, with a view to accelerating the implementation of the SDGs. .

The VNR process in Ghana will serve, among other things, to raise public awareness, strengthen citizen engagement and promote sustainable development goals at the national level.
