Pressure continues to mount on Leicester City manager Claude Puel, and the Frenchman's case has not been helped this week after scathing comments from experts Peter Schmeichel and Jamie Carragher.
Schmeichel, whose son plays in goal for Puel at Leicester, gave his views on the situation of Bein Sports, before the decisive game Foxes against Tottenham.
Although his son Kasper is Puel's first choice, Schmeichel has admitted his belief that the French do not get the most out of his players.
Pressure rises on Leicester boss Claude Puel, and experts believe his days are numbered
Although his son plays for Puel, Peter Schmeichel has the feeling that he can get nothing from his players.
Kasper Schmeichel is the first choice goalkeeper under Puel and is # 1 in Leicester for quite some time
"Once they're successful, it's not a bad club. They have good players, they just do not have a manager who can get something from them, "Schmeichel said. "Once it's settled, we'll see them in eighth to fifth place, which I think I belong to."
The comments of the legendary Dane echo the recent opinion of his colleague, the pundit Carragher, who, speaking of Sky sports before the sending of Leicester to the Spurs, the accepted days of Puel are numbered.
"I think there's a big problem between Leicester's manager and the senior players on this team." It always feels like there's only one game missing for no problem, because they have a very bad performance right now, "said Carragher.
Pandit Jamie Carragher thinks there's no chance that Puel will still be Leicester's boss next season
Puel seemed to upset Jamie Vardy recently by talking to Paul Pogba after a defeat
"I actually think that these are the best, when we look at the team and the players, outside the top six. Sometimes, in some ways, I admire the director for making these big decisions.
"He is not afraid to do it and if they are beaten today with Vardy, he will be more criticized by his supporters. Listen, he can not be director next season. He could even go there before the end of the season, but he nods to the players. & # 39;
Puel arrived in English football with Southampton after succeeding Ronald Koeman, but was sacked by the club after only a year at the helm of the team while he had led the Saints to the finals of the Carabao Cup.
Southampton also recorded a respectable eighth place, although Puel was sacked for the benefit of Mauricio Pellegrino.
Vuely was left on the bench by Puel for the clash against Tottenham at Wembley
