Pundit of the day's match Martin Keown "forgive" Mauricio Pochettino to Mike Dean

Martin Keown, legend of Arsenal, confessed to having sympathy for Mauricio Pochettino.

The Spurs boss was caught in controversy on Saturday when he unleashed against referee Mike Dean on the field after Spurn's 2-1 defeat against Burnley at Turf Moor.

Pochettino was not impressed by the award from a corner that Burnley opened the scoring, but that was not the reason for his anger because Dean seemed to have said something while the Spurs boss was going to go away.

And Kewon felt that Pochettino could be forgiven for the badmouthing that Dean has to the head, because of the way he has been leading in the Premier League since he's in England.

Speaking during the match of the day, Keown said: "You can forgive him, I think he's exemplary in the way he runs this football club." He went a little under the finish line today, but it was only pbadion.

"He realizes that luck is now lost, if they had anyway, I think he says," do you realize that the decision really cost us today? What do you think? It cost my team "

"Really, that was not the case and I think when he thinks, he will realize that his team has not worked hard enough and that it has been scrapped."

Keown also admitted that he had sympathy for Dean and his line judge after the problems around the first goal – the turn was given to Jan Vertonghen's ball while the ball came from Jeff Hendrick.

Keown added, "This corner led to first base and actually comes from Hendrick, it's very hard to see, these things happen, but it certainly was not a corner, you can say that.

"And when the ball comes in, you have to be angry and do everything you can to clean it up." We look at it from every angle, you can see that Hendrick has put it on.
