The Queen and Donald Trump praised relations between the United Kingdom and the United States while attending a state banquet at Buckingham Palace.
Her Majesty stated that she was "delighted to welcome" Mr. Trump as they celebrate an alliance that ensures "the security and prosperity of our two peoples for decades".
In her speech, she spoke about the "new challenges" facing the United States and the United Kingdom in the 21st century and highlighted the links between the two countries.
"The anniversary of D-Day reminds us of all that our countries have accomplished together," she said.
