Kelly will be back in court in Cook County on Thursday and is expected to plead not guilty to the 11 new cases of badual violence he was charged with last week.
The Cook County Attorney's Office issued new charges last week, bringing to 21 the total number of charges against him in Illinois, including four counts of aggravated badual badault. Each of them is liable to a maximum term of imprisonment of 30 years.
The judge could eventually revoke Kelly's bail and order him to be remanded, although legal experts say he is very unlikely.
Kelly pleaded not guilty in February to 10 counts of serious badual badault involving three girls and one woman over a decade from the late 1990s. Https://bit.ly/2EVKgcN
