La France – Adrien Rabiot the agent has accused Paris Saint Germain to hold the midfielder "hostage" after his suspension for being in a nightclub after the defeat of the Champions League by Manchester United.

The French international is in conflict with PSG because he wants to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Agent Véronique Rabiot, who is also the player's mother, insisted that his son had "done nothing wrong".

"Adrien is a prisoner, he is even hostage to PSG, it will soon be dry bread, water and a dungeon," she told the team on Tuesday.

Rabiot was suspended until March 27, after also enjoying a social media video of former United United defender Patrice Evra, celebrating PSG's defeat.

"We reproach him for going out when we do not want him to play," added Véronique Rabiot. "It's contradictory, it's not possible to lock him up."

Blocked and forced to train briefly with the youth teams, Rabiot has not played for PSG since their last match of the group stage of the Champions League against Red Star Belgrade last December.
