After a TikTok user pointed out that Jennifer Aniston had a “ voice tick, ” a compilation video showing Rachel Green clearing her throat throughout Friends went viral.
Still more than two and a half decades later Friends Aired for the first time, its iconic characters remain a staple of pop culture. To top it off, the post-pandemic world has allowed internet users to spread their metaphorical wings and dig or produce viral content.
Recently, a TikTok user pointed out that Jennifer Aniston “has that kind of vocal tick that she does at the start of every sentence she starts on any [episode] in which it is. It’s very specific, and it’s very hard not to see once you notice it. However, the Los Angeles Times notes that the sighting is not new.
Previously, a Reddit user compiled a video of fashion icon Rachel Green, portrayed by Aniston, and what appears to be her bizarre character. Lasting 2 minutes 17 seconds, the video highlights scenes from the 10 seasons where Aniston clears his throat before any important dialogue.

The actress had previously expressed her disappointment as the much anticipated Friends the special appointment remains delayed. The unscripted special was supposed to bring the entire cast together on the comedy’s original soundstage, but due to the coronavirus shutdown, production dates for the HBO Max special have yet to be announced.
“Unfortunately, it’s very sad that we had to move it again. It was, ‘How do we do that with a live audience? “It’s not a safe time. Full stop. That’s the gist. It’s not a safe time to do it.”
Looking on the bright side, the Murder mystery the actor went on to point out that this only gives them “more time” to make the meeting “even more exciting.”
Aniston added, “It’s going to be great. I choose to see it because the glass is half full and it has been postponed. Look, we’re not going anywhere. Friends, Sorry. You guys are stuck with us for life. “
