He has twice reported submitting to the metro director of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly a report on the need to take action to remedy the poor state of the school.
According to him, another report has been submitted to the central municipality of Ayawaso on the state of the school and the complaints of teachers.
Mr. Kwakye told DGN Online that he had been in his job for more than a year and a half and that he had become aware of the situation during his first month in office.
"We came here three times to do inspections where we wrote our reports," adding that "we spoke with the school authorities, the school head and some teachers. After that, we came back. We realized that the wall was cracked.
At the time of inspections, Ayawaso Central was a sub-metro of WADA.
He revealed that NADMO was waiting for WADA to award the wall demolition contract to pave the way for the construction of a new wall.
When asked why this was not done, he said that AMA had complained of lack of funds for the project.
Surprisingly, he said, it was only last week that an entrepreneur was brought to school to work on the wall.
Interestingly, the teachers who spoke to DGN Online said that nothing had been done about the situation and they had been asked if the wall was or not.
