Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who will soon be seen together at Ayan Mukerji's Brahamastra, recently visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. The photos of their visit are online.

Ranbir and Alia are currently in Varanasi to shoot for Brahmastra – the first film of Ayan's fantastic trilogy. In one of the social media photos, Ranbir's forehead is covered with chandan tika (a trademark of sandalwood pulp typical of Shiva worshipers). Alia stands next to him as the couple poses with a group of fans.

While Alia is wearing a yellow salwar suit on the pictures, we see Ranbir wearing a white shirt with a rudrakash mala around his neck.

A few weeks ago, Ranbir and Alia were seen on Brahmastra ensembles at Fort Ramnagar and Fort Chet Singh in Varanasi. In one of the pictures, Alia wore a white kurta with a red scarf around her wrist, while Ranbir was in an entirely black suit. They were inside what looked like a temple, while the idol of divinity was visible in the background.

The directors of Brahmastra organized a big event at the Kumbh Mela earlier this year. The logo of the film was unveiled using 150 drones that created the logo in the sky above the Ganga River.

Brahmastra was shot dead in Bulgaria, New York and Mumbai, among others. In addition to Ranbir and Alia, the film is also performed by Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna. It was planned earlier to release theaters around Christmas this year, but Ayan announced that the film had been postponed to next year, as post-production work was not completed.
