Seven days have pbaded since Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the Champions League final to win their sixth European Cup title in Madrid.

The goals of Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi handed the trophy to the Reds, who were widely celebrated by the fans.

ECHO has accompanied the Reds at every step of their European journey, which culminated spectacularly in the Spanish capital on 1 June.

Here is the ranking of ECHO reporter's Liverpool players, Ian Doyle, at one of the best nights of Liverpool's long and historic history.

Alisson Becker 9

Solid with its maneuverability and found its range of distribution after the break with a proper ping to free Salah. Entered his late with stops of Son, Moura and Eriksen to prevent a return of Tottenham.

Trent Alexander-Arnold 8

Vital interception when Son was clear on goal and shot in the first half. An excellent block on a shot from Alli to the goal. Another mature performance that denied his tender years.

Joel Matip 8

Happy to escape a reservation in the first half after slipping into a foul on Kane, but was grateful for his long legs with some nice interceptions. Later produces a nice help for the shooter.

Virgil van Dijk 9

After a hesitating start, he practically won everything in the air and performed very well in Son's second half. Overall won his battle with Kane. Which player. Which season.

Andy Robertson 8

A large center almost found Salah at the far post and forced Lloris to a good save with a shot range. Solid defense and performed well with his second half.

Fabinho 8

A delightful strike triggered a midfield attack in the first half, but was sometimes bypbaded by the Tottenham riders. I took care of business after the break, though.

Jordan Henderson 8

Started to further influence the break once the Liverpool midfielders stopped crossing each other. Becoming stronger and helping to keep Tottenham at bay late.

Gini Wijnaldum 6

I worked hard, but I did not manage to have as much impact as I expected. Improved a little but no surprise, he was replaced.

Mohamed Salah 8

He hit the penalty spot at home and has always been Liverpool's most dangerous forward thanks to his speed on the right. The memories of Kiev are banished forever.

Roberto Firmino 5

A bet that has not paid off, the Brazilian lacking sharpness and impact after six weeks of absence. Strangely, ran more than any Liverpool player in the first period. Subbed.

Sadio Mane 8

Won the kick with a smart piece of the game and largely beat Tripper on the left. A brilliant end to a brilliant season.

Divock Origi (for Firmino 58) 8

Provides extra energy and rhythm as a focal point. And then hide the decisive with a real aplomb.

James Milner (for Wijnaldum 62) 8

Almost scored with a narrow shot. More than his share.

Joe Gomez (for Mane 90)

Like all his Liverpool teammates, he is champion of Europe.
