The England striker posted a one-word response on Twitter that will surely thrill Red Devils fans

Marcus Rashford may have confirmed that his England team-mate Jadon Sancho will join him soon at Manchester United.

Sancho has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, and although United missed the Borussia Dortmund star last year, a move appears to be drawing closer this summer.

In an interaction with a fan on Twitter, Rashford apparently confirmed the expected news of Sancho’s transfer to the Red Devils.

What was said?

A user responded to a tweet from Rashford saying, “Announcement Sancho, Marcus.” Rashford apparently obliged, simply saying, “Yes x.”

Is Sancho’s transfer near?

Although Dortmund held their own and rejected United’s advances last summer, it looks like the Bundesliga is more open to letting Sancho go this year.

Dortmund have so far rejected two offers from United, the most recent of which was around £ 72million ($ 100million). Dortmund are believed to hold £ 77million ($ 107million), bringing the two sides closer to a deal on transfer fees.

United have already reached an agreement with Sancho on personal terms, with the star winger now widely expected to start the 2021-22 season at Old Trafford.
