A week ago on Raw, Bobby Lashley gave up on Sheamus in the middle of a match in which they were running as a team against Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre. Sheamus was understandably angry with Lashley’s decision and quickly made it clear that he intended to get revenge on the WWE Champion.
On Monday night, Sheamus has his chance for revenge as he’s set to take on Lashley in an untitled one-on-one match. A Sheamus win could lock him in a place to challenge Lashley for the Championship in the future, possibly even in WWE’s upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.
A title match is confirmed for Raw, with Damian Priest claiming he will issue an open challenge for any man to face him for the United States Championship.
