Sgt. Sekeh was attacked while returning home Saturday
SERGEANT ATSU Sekey, a newsboy attached to the office of former President John Rawlings, survived more than 10 shots.
He was shot dead in Community 22, a suburb of Tema in the Greater Accra region.
He was transported to Tema General Hospital where he is being treated urgently at the hospital.
The incident occurred around 1:30 pm on July 13, 2019, when the officer was on patrol at the Community 22 Junction Motorcycle with the GP 4405 registration number.
A police source told DGN Online that the officer had escorted Lieutenant Rawlings to the Aqua Safari resort in Ada, Greater Accra, a little earlier in the day before the unfortunate investigation.
