Twenty-three years after his last special show, comedian Ray Romano will come on stage for a special one-hour show on Netflix titled Right here, at the corner of the street. The special, which consists of two surprise sets of half an hour at & nbsp;Comedy Cellar and Village Underground, both located in Manhattan, will premiere on the streaming network on February 5th. & nbsp;

The trailer shows Romano pacing the night streets of New York City before his special stage, then goes on stage without warning in front of a small audience but surprised. Extracts from scenes show him telling jokes about the major themes of his recent life: relationships, marriage, the education of children and aging.

according to Vulture, the last special show of the 61-year-old television star was a & nbsp; spot on HBO's Comedy 1/2 hour series in 1996, and this new effort will be his first special one-hour. Romano joined Ellen Degeneres and Adam Sandler among the great and famous comic veterans who came back to the stand-up stage on Netflix after major interruptions.

This is not the only company that Romano is currently planning with Netflix. The special show will be broadcast a few weeks before Paddleton, an original Netflix movie with Romano and Mark Duplbad. The drama follows two friends as they discuss Duplbad's diagnosis of terminal cancer and subsequent badisted suicide – and seems to be a different departure for both actors. Paddleton premieres on February 22nd.

In addition, the first season of Get Shorty, the Epix crime drama in which Romano is a cast member, is also available on Netflix now. & nbsp;
