Today marks exactly 64 years since Ghana gained independence.
This year, however, the annual celebration lacked the usual military and school parade due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Again, the annual celebration that often takes place in Independence Square was held at the Jubilee House as directed by the President’s office.
The nationwide event which lasted around an hour saw President Akufo-Addo address the nation.
