Real Madrid may be forced to sell big stars to comply with FFP rules after spending more than 300 million pounds on Hazard & Co

REAL ESTATE Real Madrid may have to sell some of its stars this summer to comply with Fair Play's financial regulations, according to reports.

Eden Hazard was the latest big money last week when her £ 130 million move from Chelsea to Bernabeu was announced.

Luka Jovic had been the first arrival in the Spanish capital thanks to a £ 58 million transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt.

And the giants of La Liga are not yet finished since they are targeting either Paul Pogba or Christian Eriksen as part of a summer overhaul of the mega-currency.

But such drastic spending will mean that Real will not respect the rules of the FFP, which could result in his exile from the Champions League.

Real problems

And, according to the Spanish newspaper AS, the club must sell £ 300 million of stars to comply with the regulations.

Gareth Bale is already on the list of potential starts, with Man United, a long-time Welsh admirer.

United reportedly attempted a bold loan offer in the amount of £ 24 million.

James Rodriguez, who spent the last two seasons with Bayern Munich, is back in the Spanish capital.

The Colombian moved to Bernabeu for £ 63m in 2014 and Real plans to try to make him pay for a heavy price.

Mateo Kovacic is likely to go on sale after a loan deal in Chelsea, while Real regards Sergio Reguilon and Dani Ceballos as a potential profitable sell.
