REAL MADRID plans to launch its "Operation 200" as they seek to unload Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez to finance their move for Paul Pogba.
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane plans to sell no less than five players to raise the £ 200m needed to land the Manchester United star, Marca said.
Dani Ceballos, Marco Asensio and Isco are also on the market. The giants of the Premier League, including Liverpool, are on red alert.
Isco and Asensio both went on the market at £ 72m each. The Reds, Manchester City and even United are planning to move for the pair.
Arsenal is also considering a move to Ceballos, but may not have the necessary funds, preferring to opt for a loan transfer.
Tottenham is tied to an emotional backlash for Bale – but his agent has denied that the Spurs have made an initial bid of £ 55 million.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid is about to continue its incredible summer spending with a move to Rodriguez.
ALL MUST GO
The Colombian would have claimed to want to stay in Spain after his disappointing loan period at Bayern Munich, a giant of the Bundesliga.
The real ones desperately need to balance their accounts after a spree of summer spending.
Zidane has already made some £ 272 million in new signings this summer alone, including Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Eder Militao.
Earlier this summer, Pogba had revealed that he was ready for a "new challenge". Real Madrid were interested in forming a "new Galacticos" after a crazy 2018-19 sub-normal.
But to date, United has received NO offers for Pogba, Zidane being unable to meet the minimum valuation of £ 150 million Red Devils.
According to rumors earlier this summer, Real would have offered only £ 90 million to Pogba, but United is desperate to get more for the signing of his club record.
Despite rumors that the winner of the 25-year-old French Football World Cup was at the rendezvous, he played in the team's pre-season friendly beat.
In fact, this has led fans to think that he might just want to stay after all.
