Real Madrid players react to Eden Hazard's imminent arrival

Real Madrid players can not wait for Eden Hazard's arrival.

The Belgian superstar should sign a six-year contract with the Spanish giants of Chelsea.

Real defender Dani Carvajal said: "Hazard would add a lot to our attack, it's a player who wants the ball and does not hide."

The club is struggling to make a contract with the winger – who has more than a year of contract – because Chelsea requires more than 100 million pounds sterling.

Real Madrid general manager Jose Angel Sanchez left Monday a meeting with Chelsea's hierarchy without sealing an agreement.

This means that Hazard (above) will have to wait for the end of his international engagements to join, as one could expect, Zinedine Zidane.

Eden Hazard to join Real Madrid this summer

The Belgian has already admitted that he intends to leave the club this summer after helping the Blues defeat Arsenal 4-1 in the final of the Europa League.

"Yes, I think it's a goodbye," Hazard told BT Sport after the match. "But in football, you never know.

"My dream was to play in the Premier League – I did it for seven years and in the biggest club in the world.

"Now, maybe it's time to take on a new challenge."

He would join the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker, Luca Jovic, who had signed earlier this week.

Madrid has already signed Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt

Carvajal added: "Luka Jovic is a great number nine and in front of goal, I hope that it is decisive and I am sure that it will be a great success."

The arrival of Jovic comes after a disappointing season for Real, both in Spain and Europe.

After an untimely exit against Ajax in the last 16 games of the Champions League, the Spanish giants then finished third in the La Liga, behind Barcelona and Atletico.

"The end of the campaign? It's the worst season since I was in the first team, "continued Carvajal.

"The best thing is that the season is over, the arrival of Zidane gave us oxygen but we did not have a good reaction either."
