Real Madrid has agreed to sign a deal with Chelsea's Eden Hazard for more than 150 million pounds.
Hazard signed a five-year contract and will be presented as a real player on June 13, subject to a medical examination.
After joining Lille in 2012, the Belgian scored 110 goals in 352 games for Chelsea and scored two goals in his Europa League final win last week.
"The memories that he leaves us will not be dispelled," said Marina Granovskaia, director of Chelsea.
"He has provided everyone who has watched Chelsea an excellent entertainment and many winning contributions, and for that, we thank Eden tremendously.
"He has been a professional model throughout his club career, a great person to have around him and a joy to work with him."
In seven seasons at Chelsea, Hazard has twice won the Premier League and Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup.
He has also been named player of the year by Chelsea four times.
"Even though it is with sadness that we say goodbye to Eden and that we made it clear to him that the club wanted him to stay, we respect the decision that he made to take up a new challenge in a different country and pursue his childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid, "added Granovskaia.
Fifa has placed Chelsea under a transfer ban, meaning it will not be able to sign a substitute for Hazard.
The Blues are banned from signing players during the next two transfer periods until the end of January 2020. They failed on their first call to the world governing body of football and presented their second resort to the Sport Arbitration Court.
