Real Madrid has "identified West Ham striker Felipe Anderson as an ideal alternative" they could not attract their number one target, Eden Hazard, to Spain this summer.
The Giants of La Liga are longtime admirers of Hazard and hope to reach an agreement that will lead him to Bernabeu at the end of this season. The Belgian winger starts the last year of his contract at Chelsea.
However, according to Sky Sports, doubts about their chances of getting Hazard's services dissipated after the rejection of an offer of 60 million pounds earlier this month, which prompted Madrid to evaluate other options.

Sky's sources realized that Brazilian striker Anderson was high on the list of Madrid players. Chelsea was even more reluctant to make gains on a valuable property, Hazard, after the transfer ban.
Chelsea could have a head spin if Madrid doubled its initial bid but Anderson would represent a much cheaper alternative, West Ham having apparently figured out asking for around £ 65m.
The 25-year-old has had a great first season in England after his summer transfer from Lazio this summer. He scored eight goals and badisted six in his 31 Premier League games.
Hazard is Madrid's No. 1 target but they will draw attention to Anderson if they fail to sign it.
The new boss of Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, is eager to strengthen his team this summer. He will take a closer look at Anderson in the coming months, despite the fact that Hazard is at the top of his wish list in a recent fan survey.
It is believed that West Ham would be more than willing to allow the attacker to leave if Madrid met their requirements, which are almost double what they paid for him last year.
Zidane will also target the movements of Christian Eriksen and Sadio Mane also in the summer window.
