An intriguing summer announces for several of the best European clubs in transition and who need significant investments.

Liverpool, however, does not seem to be among them, with Jurgen Klopp boasting a solid and relatively complete team.

As ECHO noted last week, the priorities of the Reds' manager during this period will be to ensure full back coverage as well as a versatile attacker to fill in the gaps created by the likely departures of the Reds. Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge.

The times are changing for Liverpool, the club getting closer to the top of the European elite and no longer having the often annual worry of seeing valuable badets being robbed by teams like Barcelona or Real Madrid.

And this is the case of the last Spanish giant that is of particular interest.

The bookmakers give Klopp and his partners an additional chance to recruit several players from Zinedine Zidane's team.

If some stars become available, the Reds may have a hard time not thinking about a decision. The fact that Real Madrid is planning big changes in its team means that some big names might be on the market.

A former man from Malaga, Isco reportedly had a turbulent relationship with Zinedine Zidane previously at Real Madrid and, with the return of the Frenchman to Santiago Bernabeu, the future of this 27-year-old man again attracted speculation – although this Juventus is currently the heaviest bound for a move.

Gareth Bale – 16/1 (PaddyPower)

Another player predicting an outing this summer is Gareth Bale, who, like Isco, would have an icy relationship with Zidane, and a return to the Premier League is strongly suggested.

However, it seems rather unlikely that Jurgen Klopp is turning to the Wales international to strengthen his team given his age, his salary requirements and the profile of the player targeted by Liverpool.

Raphael Varane – 20/1 (PaddyPower)

Raphael Varane, 26, winner of the French World Cup, begins his career at the heart of Real Madrid's defense.

Although he only recently reiterated his intention to stay in the Spanish capital, prices are still offered for an outing.

Sergio Ramos – 22/1 (SkyBet)

After Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has confirmed Sergio Ramos' intention to leave, an exit this summer seems to be coming.

However, it would be a shock of seismic proportions if the 33-year-old put an end to his 14-year stay in Los Blancos to settle in Merseyside – where he is not likely to be very well received …
