As with all chia puddings, it’s a good idea to prepare the chia mixture ahead of time, possibly one night before. This is about letting it harden as it takes on a kind of gelatinous layer when moisture is added to it and gives it a nice creamy texture.
Therefore, the mixture should take in the refrigerator for at least an hour before use. Since most fitness enthusiasts swear by the goodness of this super food that is chia seeds, here is the recipe for this delicious dessert that you can enjoy in the morning without any guilt.
Ingredients:
180 ml of vegetable milk
2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter, melted
1 to 2 tablespoons of maple or agave syrup
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
Method:
Combine all the ingredients with a whisk. Put in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours or overnight. Then add toppings like soy yogurt, berries, peanut butter, Aronia berries and edible crispy straw and enjoy!
