No, it's not just you. Reddit is down.

Users started reporting outages a little over an hour ago. For this author, the problem first appeared as a strange problem related to the Reddit login server and the cover page timeline, but it quickly got worse. Now, browsing reddit.com rewards a lot with 503 errors.

The outage seems to have hit the hardest Reddit users on the desktop. Navigating to Reddit via its Android and iOS app has worked well for several Gizmodo staff, and even the Reddit status page says all systems are up and running, although it is showing a sharp rise in error for reddit.com.

If you have the impression that the Internet has broken more than usual, you are not alone. There have been several major outages in the last month.

Google has had at least two major breakdowns, as well as Facebook. AT & T also experienced a major breakdown this month. Damn, even Down Detector is down.

Remarkably, Kinja, the platform of Gizmodo, is stable … at least for the moment.

We contacted Reddit for more information about the outage and we will update it upon our return.
