Bishop John Bonaventue Kwofie, Metropolitan Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, advised Ghanaians to devote themselves once again to God and to avoid selfishness and greed, which ransacked the country.

He added that Ghana's development was largely based on the ability of citizens to put Christians' teachings into practice by incorporating the culture of hard work and patriotism, honesty, service and the ability Love for all.

Bishop Kwofie ordered Ghanaians to devote themselves to their work when Jesus Christ fulfilled his orderly mission to save Jesus' crucifixion in the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Accra.

He said that God loves humanity, adding; "That's why he died for our sins and, although the Christians who lived today were not there at the time of baptism, we have been transformed and we are expected to live a life worthy of emulation. "
