National Ice Cream Day became a holiday in 1984 of President Ronald Reagan. Now, it is observed each year every third Sunday of July.
Americans like to taste clbadics like vanilla, strawberry and chocolate, but other flavors have stood out this year.
According to GrubHub, mint chocolate chips are top of the list of favorites in the United States.
The study showed that here in the south of the country, pastry flavors like birthday cake and pecan were the most popular.
