The minister called for effective cooperation of the media with the
Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) to implement the programs and
policies for the rapid development of the region.
Ms. Kumi-Richardson called for
his first meeting with the media and some upcoming department heads
with ideas that could promote socio-economic development to improve
the living conditions of the population Thursday in Sunyani.
She advised the media to use their
platforms to promote peace and unity in the region, claiming that progress has flourished on
peace and unity, but disunity delays the development of a community.
She said any country where peace reigns,
there is political stability and therefore socio-economic progress which is a
need to attract investors for that they invest in creating jobs and creating wealth for the world.

She urged the professionals of various
politicians, politicians and all the inhabitants of the region to unite to support
RCC for the smooth and successful execution of the development program for
the region.
Ms. Kumi-Richardson stated that the media as well as
political communicators and social commentators must give up
untimely and inflammatory languages that
could generate conflict to disturb the peace not only in the
region but throughout the country.
She called on the media to talk more about
development issues and educate the mbades to be nationalistic but not
fanatics, help his office, municipal and district leaders to get
public feedback to enable it to deliver effectively
their mandate.
Ms. Kumi Richardson announced
that the doors of the CCR are always open for suggestions and ideas that
could promote the socio-economic well-being of the inhabitants of the region.
