The Secretary General of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the opposition, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has refused to accept the excuse of the Electoral Commission invoking the inclusion of the new register of voters in its press release as one of the key issues discussed at the recent Inter-Agency Advisory Committee meeting. (IPAC) was a mistake.

According to him, what the EC did was "either a deliberate act or an act of incompetence".

Speaking in an interview with the sit-in host of FM agreement Akosua Agoe Aboagye, from the program "Ade Akye Abia", deplored the constant mistakes made by the EC; recounting a previous meeting of IPAC in which the EC also urged the opposition party not to have invited to participate in the referendum on the creation of six new regions.

He, however, reminded the Electoral Commission to consider itself the arbiter of all political parties, urging the Commission to be fair and listen to its words and work.

". . it is unfortunate that the electoral commission continues to make mistakes instead of proving an argument to make a good impression of itself, of its competence, and other factors have resulted in this disastrous decision. "

". . If so, why did not they mistakenly drink poison and called it a mistake? . . they know what they were doing because it was deliberate and like to do it ", he said.

He therefore advised the EC to be humble and learn from their predecessors if they encounter difficulties.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia added that the CND "dissociates itself" from the communiqué and asks for its withdrawal, because it does not correspond to the conclusions of the meeting of the advisory committee.
