Two friends battled this weekend as Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim shared six goals in a thrilling match at Signal Iduna Park.
Jadon Sancho's team was leading 3-0 with 20 minutes to play and Reiss Nelson entered the fray to help his team score a point with an incredible return of visitors.
The latter was an unused substitute on the contrary at the beginning of the season. So it was the first time the duo met in a competitive match and there was a sense of pride among them.
Scheduled for a bright future in the match, the season was exceptional for Sancho, which had an impact on the Bundesliga as well as on the Champions League and won a first English selection late last year.
Nelson is expected a lot for his club and his country and he has had an impressive loan period in Germany with six goals in 15 league games so far.
The match of the weekend is a game that no player is likely to forget in a hurry and not just because of the 3-3 draw.
Both have turned to social media since the final whistle and described their emotions of sharing a lot together.
"What? A. Game. Buzz to be part of the comeback and help the team," Nelson wrote on Instagram.
"It's also an incredible feeling to share the pitch with my brother @ sanchooo10, from the cage to the outside of my house at the Bundesliga!"
Crazy crazy game! Disappointing not to win, but excellent team efforts from boys today! "Sancho said.
"It's a great trip, but proud of your brother, keep working hard!"
