PORTLAND (Maine) – Chicken thongs sold by two major retailers are being recalled as they may contain pieces of metal.
The two brands recalled are Tyson and Hannaford. Hannaford is a large chain of grocery stores with more than 180 stores in Maine, Mbadachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont.
In the Product Recall section of his website, Hannaford has listed the following specific frozen chicken strips that are recalled due to the possible presence of metal pieces.

The Tyson brand also announced the recall of its products on its Facebook page.
Tyson extends the original recall from March 21, 2019.
"In recent days, new consumers have reported finding metal fragments in a small number of products," the company said in a statement.
