Adomi Bridge
The Ghana Tourism Authority has taken notice of an article dated 19 April 2019 on your portal information, the ghanaweb, with the title above.
The Authority has no part in the day-to-day management of the Adomi Bridge and therefore has not been able to set fees or charges for visitors for selfies or any other activity.
It is worth noting that the evidence provided by the author is a receipt bearing the stamp of the district badembly of Asuogyaman and signed by the District Finance Officer. This receipt has nothing to do with the Ghana Tourism Authority.
As the country 's tourism business regulator, we will pursue, in the public interest, with the relevant local authorities.
We urge the writer and the media in general to subsequently check out the basic facts in order to avoid such misrepresentations.
