Tickets for the 2019 edition of the Ghana Meets Naija concert are being sold.

The organizers, Empire Ghana, say the first posts last week are almost exhausted.

The ticket race is a typical feature of the annual gathering of the biggest names in West African music.

The Accra International Conference Center will host the 2019 edition on Saturday, June 8 with the biggest stars of Ghana and Nigeria competing for the title of the supreme throne of music.

This year's event focuses on football and also features a guest from Barbados.

R2Bees, Medikal and Patapaa will lead the Ghana contingent this year, while Nigeria is represented with talent by rising star Teni, as well as by Wande Coal and Victor AD.

The main DJ of the evening is the award-winning DJ Vyrusky, while DJ Putin and DJ Big N will battle it out during the battle.

Standard tickets for this year's event are sold on Ticketmiller.com for 150 GHC with VVIP for GHS 300.

More than a dozen acts are also expected. They include: Tulenkey, Fameye, MP for Quamina, Bless, Kelvyn Boy, Ras Kuku, Kofi Mole, J. Derobie, Koko Trey, Opanka, A. K Songstress, Young Rush, Saltan and Moziz.
