play the videoThe water flowing from a tree
YEN.com.gh is in possession of a video in which we see people from Adidome, in the Volta region, search for water in a tree.
In the video, the big tree called "Kporkplor" in Ewe language has an exit from where the water flows like a faucet.
YEN.com.gh observed that the water is colorless, as is normal water, and that, in the way residents have been waiting to look for it, it was without danger.
Women with bowls of all sizes have been seen waiting for water. According to the narrator, the tree produces its water once a year during the dry season.
He added that when the time comes for the water to flow, it flows freely when there is no one to look for, which wastes it.
The video was shot in the evening, an indication that locals would have picked up in the morning and made sure to harvest until the last straw, as it would take a year to see the water from this tree.
It's really great and so far nothing like this has been reported in the media or seen anywhere in Ghana except in the Volta region.
