Despite this, some voluntary donors helped pay the medical costs of the victims of the accident.
On Tuesday March 30, the management of Kaleawo Fm with some members of the Traditional Council of the Avenor and the member of the assembly of Tatorme Fiato, where the incident occurred, handed over a cash donation of 18,000 Ghc to the Guardians of Ernest at Ho University Hospital and Ghc 800.00 to Kobby Tugbah at Akatsi Municipal Hospital as initial hospital bills.
The team, led by Mr. Raphael Bedzo, director of Kaleawo Fm and Mama Korkor Tsahaye IV, the queen mother of Gefia of the Avenor Traditional Area, presented the amounts to the relatives of the victims of the accident.
Mr. Edward Doe Adade, Assembly Member from Akatsi-Tatorme Fiato Electoral District, thanked all philanthropists and supporters for their kind gestures and encouraged communities to do more.
