After the disappointment of Kyle Edmund's retirement, Johanna Konta returns to the game on Friday as the British No1 – the first woman on these shores to reach the third round since 1992 – will face the Slovak Viktoria Kuzmova at Roland Garros.
King Clay Clay Rafael Nadal faces David Goffin, the countryman, while Roger Federer meets Casper Ruud, a 17-year-old whose father Christian played with twenty Grand Slam wins at the 1999 French Open.
Second seeded Karolina Pliskova will face Petra Martic, Sloane Stephens, Polona Hercog, and Elina Svitolina, Garbine Muguruza.
Stan Wawrinka, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Lucas Pouille are among the other players in action during the sixth day.
