NOC National President Ofosu Ampofo was formally charged by the CID police.
He was indicted by two other NDC leaders, Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Manager, and his deputy, Kwaku Boahen.

According to the report, the three persons were charged with "conspiracy to commit a crime with intent to kidnap, and conspiracy to commit a crime with threat of harm".
This would have been revealed by the public relations officer of the CID police, DSP Juliana Obeng.
"They have all been charged with conspiracy to commit a crime with intent to kidnap and conspiracy to commit a crime threatening to cause harm," said DSP Obeng.
As a result of the prosecution, the three individuals were therefore asked to stop reporting to the CID, as originally agreed for an investigation.
