Rihanna is signing a historic contract with LVMH, The New York Times reports. The parent company behind Dior, Givenchy and Fendi would give Rihanna its own fashion brand, which would make it the company's first color designer. The details of the transaction are currently unknown. Sources within LVMH confirmed the news at Time, but LVMH has not made a comment yet. Pitchfork solicited comments from its representatives.

LVMH, the largest luxury conglomerate in the world, has signed an agreement with Rihanna on its beauty subsidiary, Kendo, in 2017. Its Fenty Beauty range has been a huge success. She teamed with Puma in 2014 for Fenty Puma. At the time, Puma belonged to Kering, the competitor of LVMH. Her lingerie line Savage X Fenty made her debut last year at an extravagant show at New York Fashion Week.
