The Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) described Tuesday’s melodrama by the PDP in the name of welcoming decamps from the APC to the PDP as simply going too far in exhuming dead wood and all kinds of worthless people and calling them CPA members on the run. at the PDP.
The APC made the statement in a press release issued Thursday by the Party’s Media Department in Port Harcourt.
The statement described the event as part of a bogus charade and major scam by the PDP to defraud Governor Nyesom Wike of the Commonwealth of Rivers.
“This PDP Ponzi scheme is now taking a different turn as the party now digs up old deadwood and people of insignificant political merit and holds mock reception ceremonies with taxpayer money.
“It may not make sense to talk about receiving Mr. Ogbonna Nwuke who recently announced his resignation from the CPA, but how can we explain the regrouping of several other people who had no connection with the ‘APC or who left our party 3 or 4 years ago?
“More specifically, Chibudom Nwuche has not been a registered member of the APC because he cannot produce and present such proof of registration to anyone. No need to mention its zero electoral value as the governor and his party know very well. For over 3 years now, Chibudom Nwuche has always enjoyed a prominent place in PDP events. So what’s really the point the PDP wants to make right now?
“It is common knowledge that Chief Stephen Ezekwem, a disciple of Magnus Abe, left the APC in 2018 and he told anyone who wanted to listen to him that he was now a PDP actor in his area of local government.
“Someone like the Hon. Emma Deeyah and her close friend, Igo Aguma, shamelessly left the CPA long ago in ignominy after their satanic plot to steal the party structure in Rivers State before the Supreme Court failed.
“The others in the basket of deplorable who took part in the shame show tagged in PDP are nothing more than unimportant subsistence hunters whose only claim and sole motive in politics is their digestive tract. They are simple political travelers whose highest goal in life is to find pieces of edibles from anywhere for their stomach ailments, ”the statement said.
In conclusion, the statement drew the attention of the people of Rivers and Nigerians to the quality and status of the personalities who are leaving the PDP to join the APC.
“How do you compare the empty melodrama of the PDP with the last quality individual who recently left the PDP and joined the APC with thousands of his supporters in the person of the Hon. Chisom Dike who currently represents the Federal Constituency Eleme, Tai & Oyigbo in the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? The ones they claim to join PDP have expired before this and that with no real value of any kind. They are miserable political companions without supporters, ”he said.
