After playing as Bruce Wayne / Batman in Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice and Justice League, Affleck made the decision to move away from the character, a situation that allowed Reeves to revise the scenario of the young Bruce Wayne.
Although little is known about the plot of The Batman, Reeves spoke to THR in January on the long-term project. "You can not have Batman without a villain," he says. "There will be a gallery of rogues." At that time, the filmmaker also announced that the casting process would begin shortly.
Pattinson appeared in 2005 Harry Potter and the cup of fire and rose to fame by playing vampire Edward Cullen in the dusk franchise in five films from 2008-12.
