We already had our first look at Taron Egerton as Elton John in Rocketman, now we've heard him sing too.

Paramount has released a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming musical biopic featuring Taron Egerton as a singer.

In addition to some excerpts from the film, he shows Egerton singing Tiny Dancer and Dexter Fletcher praising his role.

"Taron is an actor of incredible reach," Fletcher said. "Taron sings in the movie and he's so convincing, his voice is amazing."

Music producer Giles Martin says that even Elton John is impressed by Egerton's performance.

Elton said, "I do not think I heard anyone sing my songs better than Taron."

We are expecting great things when it comes out in May.

In addition to the video, we were also treated to new photos of photographer David LaChapelle, who created some of Elton's most iconic photos.

Chapel took the picture for the official poster.

Rocketman stars Jamie Bell in the role of Bernie Taupin, Elton John's writing partner, Richard Madden of Bodyguard in the role of his first manager John Reid and Bryce Dallas Howard in the role of his mother Sheila Farebrother.

Dexter Fletcher, who took over Queen's biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, is the director. He also directed Egerton in Eddie the Eagle.

If you expect Rocketman to be a biopic like Bohemian Rhapsody, you're wrong.

Egerton has already stated that it was a "fantasy musical", which means "these are actually his songs that express important rhythms of his life during emotions. He's not the only character to sing. "
