The story will take place at Wrestlemania 35, while Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will compete in the first-ever Main Female Showcase of the Immortals.

The trio will face off in a three-threat match for Rousey's WWE Raw Women's Championship in what is a pivotal moment in the sport.

The women's division of WWE has undergone a remarkable transformation since the company decided not to call their female superstars "Divas" three years ago at Wrestlemania 32.

Former UFC champion, Rousey, has played a crucial role in the willingness of female interpreters to position themselves at the forefront of big business since joining the WWE a year ago.

She revealed that she was always aiming to make one of the star headlines when she entered the ring – and she praised the way that the WWE reflected "The" evolution of women "around the world.

Rousey will be part of the first main women's tournament at Wrestlemania 35

"On one side, I was already expecting it, and on the other hand, I was really very happy that it was finally certain," Rousey told SportsCenter while she was standing next to Lynch and Flair.

"It seemed like an abstract lens somewhere in the future, I came to WWE just over a year ago and my goal from the beginning was to be part of the first main women's event for WrestleMania.

"It's amazing how much momentum we could generate in just one year. Look at WrestleMania from last year compared to now.

Rousey defends her women's title against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch

"What I think is happening at WWE is really a parallel for everything that's happening culturally in the world.

"The WWE product simply copies everything that is happening for the evolution and revolution of women in all sectors.

"I really think it's one of those mediums where you can influence real social change and how women see each other.

"It's the same company that has had bra and panties that are keeping women at the top of their game."
