Rosneft second quarter profit leaps on rising oil prices

MOSCOW, Aug. 13 (Reuters) – Russian oil producer Rosneft’s (ROSN.MM) second-quarter net profit quintupled from the same period last year, he said on Friday, citing the resumption of oil price.

Net profit jumped to 233 billion rubles ($ 3.2 billion) as income doubled to 2.167 billion rubles.
