Rotary Club of Kumasi-East commits 2.4 million GH in projects

Kumasi, August 2, GNA – The Rotary Club of
Since 2016, Kumasi-East has committed a total of 2.4 million GH pour to provide
basic social amenities to improve the lives of people in rural communities.

Projects include: Drinking
water, construction of school blocks, health facilities and care services,
especially in the control and treatment of poliomyelitis, malaria and cervical disease

Mr. Francis Tettey-Ahwah, the new elected member
President of the club, who reported this, said the goal was to help improve the
living conditions of the inhabitants of the rural beneficiary communities.

boreholes and supported malnourished children in some rural communities in the

Mr. Tettey-Ahwah stated that the club would continue

would soon be receiving delivery trucks from Rotary International, to undertake
health screening exercises in rural communities.

Exercise, which targets 10 selected

The club would start soon
construction of a block of six-unit clbadrooms for the Konongo-Odumasi community.
