A lucky cruise line pbadenger will receive the equivalent of £ 100,000 from Royal Caribbean and the first ever breathtaking Shore Explorer apprentice ship. The appropriately named post, which will certainly suit many travel enthusiasts, offers the enviable challenge of sailing on one of the company's luxury vessels for a multitude of destinations around the world. The lucky employee will receive high fees for the privilege and will in return research and test what he considers to be extraordinary shore experiences. This includes visiting a glacier in Alaska, discovering Osaka in Japan and white water rafting in the Norwegian fjords, documenting their experiences on Royal Caribbean's Instagram, Insta-Stories and IGTV pages.

As if the benefits of this particular role were not vast and impressive enough, the lucky apprentice will also have a first glimpse of the new and exclusive exclusive private island of Royal Caribbean in the Caribbean, Perfect Day at CocoCay, which will open its doors in May 2019.

Those wishing to apply for a single position must apply via the cruise company's Instagram page.

They will have to share their favorite travel experience as a photo or video on Instagram, Insta-Stories or IGTV stories with #ShoreExplorer and @RoyalCaribbeanUK tags.

He will then be judged by an independent jury, consisting of the author, guitarist and guitarist of The Vamps, in the movie I'm Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! 2018, James McVey.

A spokesman for Royal Caribbean said, "We are looking for an adrenaline junkie not only eager for adventure, but also able to capture a moment and tell a story in a simple post published on a social network.

"We already offer an incredible amount of incredible and unique land experiences as part of our cruise vacation – from zip lines to whitewater rafting, glacier walking and hot air balloon rides.

"By launching this post, we hope that the winning candidate will advance our shore excursion program."

In becoming a Judge of Shore Explorer, James McVey said, "My jungle experience has taught me that you can not do without exploring new destinations and experiences – whether on land or in water. Sea – and that's what makes you a Shore Explorer on.

"I am very excited to be working with Royal Caribbean to find the perfect person for this new Apprentice-ship; someone who has a pbadion for traveling, exploring and researching new and extraordinary experiences around the world.

"And, of course, they must also be brilliant to share their adventure online!"

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, hold a valid pbadport and be able to travel this year.

Royal Caribbean also conducted a survey on par with its first ship-apprentice Shore Explorer, based on travelers' wishes.

The results showed that more than half (51%) of Millennials say they would rather spend their money on memorable experiences than on material goods.

Meanwhile, nearly one-third (28%) of this age group has even booked a vacation or experience after seeing someone posting information about it on Instagram.

At the top of the destination wish list, there was a trip to see the northern lights.
