A survey of more than 12,000 people has just completed on Windsor, the favorite of Express.co.uk readers, never revealed, and Queen Elizabeth II did not win the crown . The survey conducted between July 27 and 11 am and July 28 at 4 pm asked the question: "Who is your favorite EVER member of the Windsor Royal Family?"
Diana, princess of Wales, dominated the charts beating her majesty the queen in a tight race.
Lady Diana came out victorious by only 2% after obtaining 31% of the votes, against 29% for Queen Elizabeth II.
Fewer than 250 voices separated the two female personalities from the history of the monarchy.
Diana received 3,639 votes – just ahead of the longest-running British monarch – with 3,420 votes.
The legacy of the "Princess of the People" persists more than 20 years after her tragic death on August 31, 1997.
Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, completed the top trio with 17% of the vote.
Kate officially joined the royal family in 2011 after her marriage to Prince William.
However, in the next eight years, the mother of three children of six-year-old Prince George, four-year-old Princess Charlotte, and one Prince Louis managed to win the hearts of readers among the most established of the most famous family on earth.
Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, are in fourth place.
The Duke and Duchess of Susbad received only 5% of the vote.
Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, have been the most talked about subjects of the royal family in the last 18 months – after their marriage in May 2018 and the arrival of their first child, Archie, there is almost three months old.

Another four percent thought that an "other" member not listed in the poll was their favorite in Windsor, while only one percent was not sure and had voted "do not know" .
