Project Rugby is run by Premiership Rugby in collaboration with England Rugby with the aim of increasing participation in the game of people belonging to traditionally underrepresented groups: Black Asian people and ethnic minorities, people from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds (30% of IM) and people with disabilities.
The program – which is conducted in partnership with Gallagher – will involve thousands of participants each year (aged 14 years and over and 16 years and over for people with disabilities) and will be facilitated by staff from the community of 14 clubs.
