Looks like yesterday again, the Swoosh has introduced its Nike + iPod kit to the delight of amateur runners of the iPod. It was not yesterday, it was five years ago (and a week). To celebrate, Nike has offered free copies of its Nike + app (regularly $ 2) on the App Store. The application uses the iPhone's GPS and MotionX technologies – the same technology used in Jawbone's new Era Bluetooth headset – to keep up with your race (GPS works well outdoors, MotionX technology takes over when GPS signals are weak). And then there are all the motivational features and post-run sharing options.
Better to make a dash if you want a copy, it will probably come back to $ 2 soon.
