It’s hard to believe we are already in Season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race but here we are and, again, there is a bunch of Queens ready to do whatever it takes to come out on top.
Once again airing on VH1, the new series kicked off on New Years Day with Netflix taking the rights to stream the show here – giving us the episodes shortly after they air in the US.
And the competition has been (as expected) fierce, with competitors coming from all over the United States.
With a prize of $ 100,000 up for grabs, it’s no wonder Queens are willing to do whatever it takes to win the contest.
The new series got off to a good start with six Lip-Sync Battles for Your Life, and then the following week, Symone and Olivia Lux were chosen as the two overall winners for episodes one and two – so they must be feeling confident now.
So, as the series continues, here’s everything you need to know about RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 Changes
Series 13 started off with a twist, with six lip-sync battles in the very first episode.
On top of that, there would be more changes to the show to make sure it is safe against COVID.
According to Variety, the Queens, Pit Crew and other on-screen talent have been tested for COVID-19 three times a week, along with any crew members who have interacted with them. Additional crew members were reportedly tested weekly.
There are visible changes that have been made to the show, with the judges’ table extended and glass panels placed between each seat.
Season 12 ended with a virtual finale after the coronavirus pandemic interrupted filming, so it is believed that the effects of social distancing could spill over into Season 13.
It could mean some new challenges or maybe an entirely new set for the new series.
