Ryan Giggs insists his return to Carrington on Monday will not scare him as he regularly sees his son training there with Manchester United.

The legend of the United States, Giggs, played for the Red Devils from 1990 to 2014 and made 963 appearances.

His exploits saw him raise 34 major trophies during his incredible stay at Old Trafford.

Now, Giggs' son, Zach, aged 12, is listed in United's books while he wants to follow the famous footsteps of his father.

This means that Wales boss Giggs says he regularly visits the club's training ground in Carrington.

And he insists it will not be strange to be back in Wales this week as they train before facing Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday at Wrexham.

Giggs said, "Actually, I'm here every Tuesday and Thursday because my son trains there.

"I'm a little at night.

"Nicky Butt (director of United's academy) is there and I'll sometimes have coffee with Nick too."

Giggs became coach for United in 2013 before leaving in July 2016 after Jose Mourinho did not retain him in his coaching team when he took office.

Previously, Giggs admitted to having sought professional advice before leaving United to help him cope with the upheaval.
